The European path of the Republic of Moldova, the current security and migration challenges that our country is facing, but also about the risks to the security of the state were the topics discussed by the President Maia Sandu during the meeting with the European Commissioner for Internal Affairs, Ylva Johansson.

The head of state thanked for the support offered to our country in the process of joining the European Union. Also, Maia Sandu thanked the European official for supporting the Republic of Moldova in managing the flow of Ukrainian refugees, once the war broke out in the neighboring country.

The head of state emphasized the importance of continuing to support Ukraine and said that the Republic of Moldova is preparing to deliver a new humanitarian package to the neighboring country.

Also, the president reaffirmed her commitment to continue the reforms in order to advance on the path of European integration.
