Drone Debris Poses No Threat in Etulia Nouă, Border Police Confirm
An investigation of a drone crash site near the village of Etulia Nouă, Vulcănești district, has found no explosives, Moldovan Border Police announced. The area has been declared safe.
The investigation follows the discovery of drone debris on February 17th, approximately 5 km from the village. This is the second recent incident involving drone debris near the Moldovan-Ukrainian border. On February 11th, fragments of a "Shahed" drone carrying explosives were found in the area.
Drone debris has been discovered within Moldovan territory multiple times since the start of the conflict in Ukraine. Investigations are ongoing, but authorities have not yet released details.
