Glodeni district, part of the drinking water supply system in Iasi county
The town of Glodeni and the villages in the district will be part of the drinking water supply area of Iași County. The works to expand the network of aqueducts from Romania to 100 localities on the left bank of the Prut will be executed based on a recently signed bilateral agreement, announced Natalia Gavrilița during her visit to Glodeni.
For their part, the district mayors stated that other priorities of local administrations are road reconstruction and waste management. For now, the road tax will go to local budgets as general purpose transfers. The goal is for the money to be used for wages. The government announces that the ministers are going to meet with the mayors and heads of districts, and the meeting schedule has already been set.
