Maia Sandu discussed with two American senators about the support offered by the USA for the Republic of Moldova
The support offered by the USA to the Republic of Moldova, the consolidation of our democracy, the strengthening of state institutions were the topics discussed by President Maia Sandu during a meeting with the members of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the US Senate, Jeanne Shaheen and Christopher Murphy, who were visiting Chisinau .
During the dialogue, the head of state appreciated the US assistance in strengthening our country's energy security, justice reform and the fight against corruption.
The officials also discussed regional security, in which context Maia Sandu noted the importance of continuous US support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian military aggression.
The president also emphasized that Ukraine's resistance also ensures the security and stability of the Republic of Moldova.
