Moldova Lawmakers Attend OSCE Meeting in Vienna

Moldovan lawmakers Veronica Rosca and Gheorghe Ichim are representing the country at the 23rd Winter Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) in Vienna, Austria, from February 22-23.

The winter meeting's general debate will focus on "European Security Today and Tomorrow: Parliamentary Perspectives on the Future of the OSCE."

The meeting will also include sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly's three general committees. Members of the General Committee on Political Affairs and Security will hold a special debate on the OSCE's activities in Ukraine during Russia's war of aggression. The agenda of the General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Issues will include a special debate on political dissidents and political prisoners. The General Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment will debate the topic of artificial intelligence and its security implications.
