Spyware Found in European Parliament Officials' Phones
An internal email reveals a hacking campaign targeting the European Parliament's defence committee.
Members and staff of the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Security and Defense have had their phones compromised with intrusive surveillance software, Politico reports. All MEPs have been advised to submit their phones to the institution's IT department to be checked for spyware.
The European Parliament is on high alert for cyberattacks and foreign interference in the run-up to the European elections in June.
