Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kiev: "We mark the extraordinary resistance of the Ukrainian people"
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in Kyiv to commemorate two years of Russia's war against Ukraine and show support for the Ukrainian people. The official wrote in a post on the X platform that the EU states are with Ukraine.
In Kyiv to mark the anniversary of the 2nd year of Russia’s war on Ukraine.

And to celebrate the extraordinary resistance of the Ukrainian people.
More than ever, we stand firmly by Ukraine.
Financially, economically, militarily, morally.
Until the country is finally free. pic.twitter.com/ZLWMbOxVFh
We remind you that two years ago, on the morning of February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine, declaring that it was starting a "special military operation" to liberate it. Since then, a bloody war has started in the neighboring country that continues to this day, with hundreds of thousands of people dead and injured, millions of refugees, with destroyed towns and infrastructure.
The Republic of Moldova and the EU states strongly condemn Russia's brutal war of aggression against Ukraine and the illegal annexation of the regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia, Kherson and the Crimean peninsula.
