Three other agreements with the CIS are to be denounced by the Parliament

Three other agreements concluded with the CIS regarding collaboration in the military and combating terrorism are to be denounced by the deputies at the plenary sessions of the Parliament, from February 29 to March 14. According to the Legislative, the permanent office approved the agenda of the meetings of the next two weeks.

Also, the deputies will examine three draft laws for the harmonization of national legislation with EU legislation regarding the arms and civilian ammunition regime, aspects related to the field of work and the Human Biological Bank. Also, the Parliament is to ratify the Framework Agreement with the European Commission, for the application of the suspension of the financial contributions of the Republic of Moldova to the programs of the European Union.

The Parliament will examine, in the first reading, the legislative initiatives to grant allowances and increased allowances for war veterans, participants in combat actions for the defense of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova, for war widows, children and parents of veterans.

Also in the first reading, the project will be discussed, which stipulates that debts to passengers will be paid as a matter of priority by airline companies that have gone bankrupt.

During the meetings, they will approve the draft law on hunting and the protection of the hunting stock, the draft on the Subsidy Fund in media and the draft law on geographical names. In the second reading, the project on making cash settlements and the 4th package of debureaucratization of the business environment will be examined.

Deputies will also debate the projects of amending the Law on local public administration, the Law on the Population Support Fund, the Law on social assistance, as well as the updating of the normative framework related to human resources management. The agenda also included the hearing of the Annual Activity Report of the Government of the Republic of Moldova for 2023.
