Russia's brutal war against Ukraine directly affects the Republic of Moldova again, President Maia Sandu wrote on Twitter, after the remains of a missile were found today in the north of the country.
The Head of State strongly condemned Russia's intense attacks on Ukraine today. "Peace must prevail," concluded the president.
Radio Moldova recalls that rocket debris fell this afternoon in the area of the Larga border sector, Briceni district. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI), they were discovered by a border police patrol and come from Russian airstrikes on Ukraine. The 112 emergency service and the Bombtech teams of the IGP were called to the spot. The prosecutor's office of the Briceni district was also notified.
Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița came up with a reaction to this incident.
