Ukraine's Counteroffensive Leaked, Zelenskiy Plans New Push
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday revealed that Russia obtained Ukraine's 2023 counteroffensive plans before they could be implemented. He stated that Ukraine has developed a new plan but could not share details.
Zelenskyy linked the counteroffensive setback to recent changes in army leadership. He emphasised the importance of troop rotation and the preparedness of reserve forces for Ukraine's continued defence.
The President stressed that Ukraine's victory depends on continued military aid from the West. He expressed confidence that the US Congress will eventually approve the $61 billion aid package, saying, "Ukraine's ability to resist depends on the support of our partners."
