The Republic of Moldova sent Ukraine a new batch of humanitarian aid

Government of the Republic of Moldova today sent Ukraine a new batch of humanitarian aid worth a total of five million lei. According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), five trucks with a load of over 75 tons were sent to the neighboring country.

The lot is composed of goods from the energy, medical fields, such as blood transfusion systems and disinfectants, as well as canned food needed for people in need in the neighboring country.

"The Republic of Moldova reaffirms its solidarity with Ukraine and is committed to providing support in these difficult moments", reads a statement by IGSU.

We remind you that similar aid was granted to the neighboring state during the past year as well.
