Number of COVID-19 cases is decreasing. ANSP announces the number of cases registered in the last week
As many as 175 cases of COVID-19 were registered in the Republic of Moldova in the past week, of which 19 in the Transnistrian region, the National Agency for Public Health (ANSP) announces. According to the institution, 32 cases were reported among children. Thus, compared to the previous week of monitoring, a decrease of over 12% is recorded.
ANSP specialists recommend observing the main protection measures for the health and safety of citizens. Among them – keeping social distance, avoiding crowded places; compliance with the rules of hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene; compliance with sanitary measures at the workplace, with the ventilation of closed spaces, wearing masks in medical institutions and contacting the family doctor at the appearance of the first symptoms of the COVID-19 infection.
Doctors reiterate that vaccination against flu and COVID-19 remains the most effective way to avoid serious illness and death.
