VIDEO // Searches in an illegal migration file. Three suspects, detained
Three men aged between 33 and 44 were detained on suspicion of organizing the illegal migration of Ukrainian citizens. According to the General Inspectorate of the Border Police, they used social networks to recruit individuals and request financial compensation for the illegal services provided.
Law enforcement officers searched the suspects' homes. Thus, during the search, the authorities confiscated two vehicles used for the illegal transport of migrants, significant amounts of cash, mobile communication devices involved in criminal activities and other evidence.
The set of evidence is to be investigated by the Hîncești Prosecutor's Office regarding the suspects, in order to determine the appropriateness of applying the preventive measure of arrest.
