The Republic of Moldova will receive 40 million euros from the French Development Agency. The money will be used to strengthen the forestry sector
The French Development Agency (AFD) will grant Moldova 40 million euros to strengthen the forestry sector. Also, AFD will offer a grant of 1.2 million euros for technical assistance.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the financial resources are intended to finance the needs of the state budget in the implementation of reforms in the forestry sector.
We mention that the Government approved the signing of the Credit Facility Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and AFD.
The credit facility agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the French Development Agency will implement the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Chisinau and AFD, signed on October 17, 2023, within the Support Platform for Moldova.
