Emmanuel Macron: A permanent defense mission will be opened soon in the Republic of Moldova
A permanent defense mission will be opened in the coming months in the Republic of Moldova, said today the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, after the defense ministers from Paris and Chisinau signed an agreement on cooperation in this field. According to the leader from Paris, the agreement will provide a stable framework for the consolidation of the two states.
We remind that the document provides for the National Army to be modernized thanks to the support provided by France in terms of defense policy, participation in international missions and operations, airspace control and management, military information and telecommunications technology or financial and budgetary management.
The agreement also provides for exchange of experience, joint trainings and exercises, internships and consultations. Also, a Moldovan-French commission will be created, which will evaluate the actions carried out and develop a plan for bilateral cooperation in the field of defense.
