Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration will pay a working visit to Brussels and Berlin
The Deputy-Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, will pay a working visit to Brussels, between March 11-14. The official will go to Brussels together with colleagues responsible for the analysis of European legislation from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Research, Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and the Ministry of Environment.
The delegation will also include representatives of the National Bank of Moldova and other public institutions. They will participate in several explanatory sessions on EU legislation, focusing on:
Chapter 2: Free movement of workers Chapter 3: Right of establishment and freedom to provide services Chapter 7: Intellectual property law Chapter 8: Competition policy Chapter 9: Financial services.
The sessions are part of the evaluation process of European legislation, in which the European Commission presents and explains each chapter of Community legislation.
Later, on March 15, Cristina Gherasimov will visit Berlin, where she has scheduled several meetings with German officials, including Anna Lührmann, Minister of State for Europe and Climate.
During her stay in the German capital, the deputy prime minister will participate in the conference "Strengthening Europe - simultaneous management of enlargement and reforms in the EU", organized by the parliamentary group of the Greens in the Bundestag.
