A new batch of equipment for the construction of the Vulcanesti-Chisinau Power Line reached the Republic of Moldova
A new batch of equipment for the construction of the Vulcanesti-Chisinau Power Line has arrived in the Republic of Moldova. It is about 4 autotransformer phases, necessary for the modernization of the 330 kV Chisinau Power Station. This equipment, with a total weight of over 600 tons, is delivered until March 18 under special conditions, with police escort, informs the Ministry of Energy.
The modernization of the station is part of the construction project of the 400 kV Vulcănești - Chisinau power line and will allow its connection to the electrical system of the Chisinau municipality. The line will strengthen our country's energy security and cross-border energy transport with Romania.
Thus, the electricity supply capacity of the consumption node in the central area of the Republic of Moldova, including the municipality of Chisinau, will be increased and the safe and reliable operation of the entire electrical system will be ensured.
