A group of Polish deputies pays a visit to the Republic of Moldova
A group of Polish deputies will visit Chisinau from January 16 to 18. The delegation is composed of members of the Committee for Foreign Affairs and the Committee for European Union Affairs within the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, the Chisinau Legislative informs.
According to a press release from the Parliament, the Polish deputies will have a meeting with the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu. The agenda of the visit also includes meetings with the members of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, of the National Security, Defense and Public Order Commission and with the president of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with the Republic of Poland, Larisa Voloh. Polish deputies will also meet with Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Oleg Serebrian, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu. During the meetings, various current topics will be addressed, including the security situation in the region, the energy crisis and the course of our country's European integration, in the context of getting the status of a candidate country for EU accession.
