IDF Targets Hezbollah in Bekaa Valley: Retaliation for Golan Assaults
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) struck two Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley in retaliation for recent aerial assaults on the Golan Heights, according to IDF statements reported by CNN.
IDF specified that the targeted sites belong to Hezbollah's aerial forces, implicated in planning and executing numerous attacks against Israel.
Governor Bachir Khodr confirmed that the strikes hit Duris, Taraya, and Shmustar, according to reports.
Khodr's post on X mentioned the absence of precise casualty figures resulting from the strikes.
The IDF last struck the Bekaa Valley, known as a Hezbollah stronghold, on February 26.
The valley lies over 100 kilometres from the Israel-Lebanon border, representing the northernmost target Israel has hit since October 7.
