Mariana Cherpec is the new member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors
Prosecutor Mariana Cherpec is the new member of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP). She occupied the post following Olesa Varlan’s resignation on March 4, IPN reports.
Elena Roșior, CSP member, said that the prosecutors on the list of candidates who do not have access to the position of CSP member become substitutes for the positions for which they are candidates. They fill the vacancy that occurred during the mandate in descending order of the number of votes accumulated at the General Assembly of Prosecutors
The CSP decision is to be sent to the acting general prosecutor for the launch of the administrative procedures related to the secondment, starting on March 18, of the substitute prosecutor in the CSP, Mariana Cherpec.
Mariana Cherpec has been working in the prosecutor's office since 2010.
