Igor Grosu, to the Parliament Speakers of the Member States of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region: "Support Moldova in our European path"
The Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, spoke at the Conference of the Parliament Speakers of the Member States of the European Union for the Danube Region about the importance of the security in the region, including for the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. According to a press release from the Legislative, in the message addressed, the Parliament Speaker mentioned that the strategy aims to involve as many people as possible at the local, regional and national level in order to develop the region and to improve people's lives.
The official also said that the platform will help our country strengthen its capabilities to be more prepared for the accession process.
"We came with a call to our partners from the Danube region and beyond - to support Moldova in our European journey. The integration of Moldova into the EU would not only be a significant achievement for our country, but also a testimony of the power and unity of the European project, contributing to the stability and prosperity of the Danube region as a whole", emphasized Igor Grosu.
We remind you that the Parliament Spealer, Igor Grosu, is participating in the Conference of the Parliament Speakers of the Member States of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region. The meeting takes place in Vienna, between March 18-20 and is hosted by the Austrian Parliament.
