Russia Strikes Kyiv Again, Targets Civilian Areas
Several explosions were heard in central Kyiv on Thursday morning after an air raid alert warned of Russian-launched missiles and drones, according to an AFP journalist.
A dozen loud explosions were heard starting at 5:00 a.m. (03:00 GMT), along with anti-aircraft fire.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on Telegram that "rocket debris" fell in several parts of the capital, including a "residential building," and that "cars were also on fire."
The last major Russian attacks on the Ukrainian capital took place at the end of January.
