The European Union expressed its dismay on Friday at the armed attack committed during the evening at a concert hall on the outskirts of Moscow, which resulted in at least 40 dead and more than 100 injured, and condemned "any attack against civilians", reports EFE and Agerpres.

For its part, the US Embassy in Moscow declared itself shocked by the armed attack near Moscow and sent its condolences to the Russian people, according to Reuters. At the same time, in a statement, the embassy advised US citizens to avoid the area where the attack happened.
The French Foreign Ministry said its thoughts are with the victims of the attack in Moscow and with the Russian people. Also, Paris denounced "heinous acts" and expressed its desire to shed light on this attack.
