The authorities in Chisinau condemn the terrorist attack in Moscow. Maia Sandu: "We are with everyone who has lost a loved one"
There are no Moldovan citizens among the victims of the terrorist attack in Moscow, President Maia Sandu announced. The head of state sent a message of condolences to the families and victims who suffered as a result of the attack on the evening of March 22. Maia Sandu also said that our country condemns terrorism and any act of violence against civilians.
"Condolences to all the families of those who died in the terrorist attack in Moscow. Moldova condemns terrorism and any act of violence against civilians, innocent people. According to data collected overnight by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are no Moldovan citizens among the victims. We are with the injured and all those who lost someone dear to them in the attack," said Maia Sandu in her message.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popșoi, strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Moscow, as a result of which more than 60 people lost their lives and more than 100 were injured.
"We strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Moscow, which took many innocent lives. Terrorism cannot be justified. Our hearts are with the victims and their families," the message reads.
An armed attack happened on Friday evening in a theater in Moscow, reports The Moscow Times. At least 60 people were killed by at least three attackers wearing camouflage suits, according to NEXTA.
