Natalia Barbu will perform with Nb. 11, in the first semi-final at Eurovision
The singer Natalia Barbu, who will represent the Republic of Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, will take the stage under number 11, in the first semi-final, which will take place on May 7. In the second semi-final, which will take place on May 9, contestants from Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria, Denmark, Armenia, Latvia, San Marino, Georgia, Belgium, Estonia, Israel, Norway, Netherlands.
We remind you that Natalia Barbu with the song "In the middle" won the National Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and will represent the Republic of Moldova at the International Contest that will take place in May in Sweden. In the National Final, organized by Moldova 1 TV, 11 songs competed.
Natalia Barbu won the contest with a total score of 12 points. The singer was the favorite of the jury and got 60 points. The public gave Natalia Barbu 2421 votes. The sympathy of the public was won by Valeria Pasha who got 4771 votes.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden, following Loreen's victory last year, making her the first female double winner in the music competition's history. The Swedish singer's first win was in 2012, with the song Euphoria.
Last year, the Republic of Moldova was represented by Pasha Parfeni, who placed 18th in the grand final, with the song "Sun and Moon". Moldova's best result at Eurovision was in 2017, when the band SunStroke Project took 3rd place with the song "Hey mamma".
