Moldova Strengthens Education Partnerships
The Moldovan Parliament has approved a seven-year extension of the Agreement on the Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (CEEPUS IV), originally signed in Warsaw in 2023.
This extension will promote the participation of Moldovan students, researchers, teachers, and administrative staff in academic exchanges, research programs, internships, and professional activities within universities in the Agreement's contracting states.
The Republic of Moldova will also offer scholarships to foreign citizens.
Between 2011 and 2023, 275 Moldovan citizens benefited from scholarships in the signatory countries of the Agreement. Additionally, universities in the Republic of Moldova hosted 255 foreign scholarship students.
The Republic of Moldova has been a member of the Central European University Studies Exchange Program since 2011. The Agreement's signatory countries include Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
