Maia Sandu, after the air tragedy in Brovari: "Our thoughts and prayers go to those who lost their loved ones"
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, came with a message of condolences for the Ukrainian people and the team of the Ukrainian Ministry of the Interior, after the tragic plane crash this morning in Brovari, a suburb of Kyiv.
"Saddened by the tragic accident near Kyiv this morning, which claimed the lives of 18 people, including children. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who lost their loved ones and to the team of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, whose leaders died in the accident," the president wrote on Twitter.
Moldova 1 reminds its viewers that a helicopter crashed this morning in Brovari. As a result of the tragic plane crash, at least 18 people, including the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and children, died, and dozens more were hospitalized with injuries.
Representatives of the National Police and Air Force of Ukraine claim that it is too early to draw conclusions about the preliminary causes of the helicopter crash.
The authorities from Chisinau came with messages of condolence for the Ukrainian people, following the tragedy in Brovari. Condolence messages were expressed by the Prime Minister of the country, Natalia Gavrilița, the head of the Parliament, Igor Grosu, the Minister of the Interior Ana Revenco and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Moldova.
