Tragic Incident: Fire at Istanbul Nightclub Claims Lives

At least 27 individuals have perished in a fire that erupted during renovation work at a nightclub in central Istanbul, as reported by the city governor's office on Tuesday, according to Reuters.

Additionally, eight individuals are injured, with seven in critical condition.

The fire, which has now been extinguished, broke out during the day at a nightclub undergoing repair works, as stated by Istanbul's mayor, Ekrem Imamoglu.

The causes of the fire that erupted at a nightclub in the European part of the metropolis, specifically in the Gayrettepe district, have not yet been determined.

Authorities have also indicated that an investigation has been initiated.
