Oleg Serebrian: Compensations for farmers in Dubăsari will be granted in installments
The compensation offered by the Chisinau authorities to Moldovan farmers in the Transnistrian region, forced to pay customs duties, will be granted in three installments, said the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Oleg Serebrian, in an interview for the Security Zone portal. According to him, the support measures have already been discussed with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Dubăsari District Council, the amounts being calculated in such a way that the farmers do not feel the losses incurred.
"The district council that will be the recipient of this money is to think about the distribution mechanism, it will be distributed in three installments, one installment will be granted in the first semester of the current year, the second installment will be in the second semester after the production will be harvested and transported, and the third will be for the autumn products", said Oleg Serebrian.
We remind you that the Executive from Chisinau announced, in January, that it is preparing an action plan to support the owners of agricultural land located along the Camenca-Tiraspol route, who are forced to pay customs taxes, imposed by the self-proclaimed authorities on the left of the Nistru. This measure announced by Tiraspol came after the entry into force of the amendments to the Customs Code, on January 1st, according to which the economic agents in the region will pay taxes for the import and export of goods, as other companies in the Republic of Moldova do, a fact that displeased Tiraspol.
