AIPA resumed the process of paying subsidies to agricultural producers
The Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) resumed the process of paying subsidies to agricultural producers for applications submitted in 2022. Thus, AIPA approved the payment of some post-investment subsidies in the amount of 32.5 million lei, together with the entry into force of the State Budget Law for the year 2023.
In 2022, AIPA received a record number of applications: over 16,100 farmers submitted the documents to benefit from financial support from the state. Of these, more than half applied for post-investment subsidies, and 25% - for partial compensation of excise duties for the fuel used.
At the same time, applications were submitted for direct payments for farm animals, advance subsidies for improving living and working conditions in the countryside, but also for the development of start-up projects.
This year, the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development is 1.5 billion lei.
