Reports from Iran indicate the launch of numerous drones and missiles targeting Israel, raising concerns of a significant escalation between the two regional adversaries. Israeli defence systems intercepted a staggering 99 percent of the approximately 300 unmanned vehicles deployed in the attack, underscoring Israel's formidable preparedness against aerial threats.
In response to the assault, the UN Security Council has scheduled an emergency meeting for Sunday, as reported by the BBC. Israel, in a formal communication, has urged swift action, citing the attacks as a severe menace to international peace and security.
