Middle East Travel Warning. Moldovans, urged to avoid traveling for security reasons

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends Moldovan citizens to avoid non-essential travel to the Middle East, in connection with the insecurity situation generated by the war in Israel. At the same time, the institution recommends its compatriots to carefully follow the news and official information provided by the authorities, including the MFA and the diplomatic representation in Tel Aviv. These sources can provide updates on the situation in the area and possible additional security measures.

The ministry also encourages citizens to be responsible, cautious, prioritize personal safety, follow the instructions and rules imposed by the authorities and avoid voluntarily exposing themselves to unjustified risks and recommends maintaining contact with the embassy in Israel.

The MAE states that security and stability in the area may be affected indefinitely.

The Iranian attack was condemned by several world leaders, including the Chisinau authorities, who expressed their support for Israel.
