Man City Crushes Brighton, Closes Gap on Arsenal
Manchester City secured a decisive victory over FC Brighton in the postponed match of the 29th round of the Premier League. The Citizens claimed a convincing 4-0 win away from home.
The visitors struck first after just 17 minutes from the opening whistle. Kevin De Bruyne rose above the defence to head home from Walker's cross.
Phil Foden then came alive, scoring twice in quick succession to give Manchester City a comfortable 3-goal lead at halftime.
Pep Guardiola's side continued their dominance in the second half. World champion Julian Alvarez added another goal in the 62nd minute to seal the win for Manchester City.
With this victory, Manchester City closed the gap on league leaders Arsenal London to a single point. However, the Citizens hold a game in hand.
