Berlin Memorial Concert Honors Alexei Navalny's Legacy
Associates of the opposition activist Alexei Navalny, who passed away in prison in February, have unveiled plans for a commemorative concert in his honor.
The event is scheduled to take place in Berlin on June 4th, coinciding with the politician's birthday, as reported by DW.
"We persist in our efforts to amplify the resonance of Alexei's name and his ideological legacy. Putin may have silenced Navalny, yet he cannot extinguish his influence as long as we uphold his memory and continue to advocate for his ideals," stated a message disseminated via Navalny's team's Telegram channel.
According to organizers, the concert, dedicated to the memory of Alexei Navalny, will feature performances by the bands Kasta and Pornofilms, rapper Noize MC, and singer Aigel.
Additionally, in Berlin, as a tribute to Navalny, demands have been raised for the naming of a street in his honor.
