Moldovagaz purchased from Energocom, in December 2022, about 100 million cubic meters of gas. What was the purchase price
Last December, "Moldovagaz" purchased from "Energocom" about 96 million cubic meters of gas, at the price of 1183 dollars per thousand cubic meters (including VAT). The announcement was made by the president of the Board of Directors of "Moldovagaz", Vadim Ceban.
Consequently, the cost of gas purchases amounted to 113.6 million US dollars, or approximately 2.17 billion lei. According to Ceban, Moldovagaz paid in full for the purchased gas. "This became possible, among other things, due to the amount of compensation paid by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection for the month of December 2022 in the amount of approximately 532.1 million lei, as well as the timely payment by industrial consumers and fuel and energy companies of the volumes of natural gas consumption for December", said Vadim Ceban.
