ANRE approved a new tariff for natural gas
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has approved a new tariff for natural gas supplied by Moldovagaz. According to the ANRE decision of May 2, household consumers will pay 12.15 lei, excluding VAT, which represents a decrease of 1.24 lei.
The new tariffs approved today by ANRE will enter into force after the publication of the decision in the Official Gazette.
According to the gas supplier, the main factors that determined the need to review the tariffs are the reduction of purchase prices on the TTF platform and the significant decrease in the volumes of natural gas delivered to consumers.
We remind you that the last tariff adjustment was made on February 21, current year. Then, gas got cheaper from 16.73 lei to 13.39 lei, without VAT, for a cubic meter of gas. The tariff is in force until today.
We remind, the highest price paid by consumers in the Republic of Moldova was 29.27 lei, VAT included. The tariff was in force between October 2022 and July 2023.
