Moldova: More than 3.2 million people are registered in the State Register of Voters

The number of voters registered in the State Register of Voters is 3,296,783, according to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

Of these, more than 2.7 million citizens with the right to vote are assigned to level II administrative-territorial units.

The difference includes persons who are citizens of the Republic of Moldova but do not have registered domicile or residence, including those who have emigrated abroad, some 292,426 persons, as well as citizens with the right to vote whose registered domicile is in the administrative-territorial units on the left bank of the Dniester River, provisionally outside the sovereign control of the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova, more than 268,000 persons.

According to the data presented by the CEC, most voters are in Chisinau municipality, ATU without the left bank of Dniester, ATU Gagauzia and Balti municipality.
