The war in Ukraine continues, and the bloodiest battles are now being fought for Bahmut, after the mercenaries of the Wagner Group have consolidated their forces in Soledar. The Russians also launched a missile attack on the town of Kosteantînivka. Three people died and four were injured, and a kindergarten and a higher education institution were damaged. The battle for Bahmut is extremely bloody for both camps, experts say. The Ukrainian Intelligence Service is concerned about the heavy losses suffered by the Kiev army. Hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers die daily in the battles of Bahmut and Soledar, and the Russian army maintains the same offensive tactics, despite even bigger losses.

During the fierce fighting for Soledar, Ukrainian forces suffered heavy losses. One of the commanders of the Wagner group stated in a video that the bodies of the dead soldiers will be sent to the Ukrainian side, as stipulated by an agreement signed between Kyiv and Moscow.

"We have to be careful and deliver them in a decent way," he said.

Russian forces have repeatedly attacked Ukrainian-controlled localities in the Donetsk region, causing significant destruction. According to the head of the Ukrainian administration in this region, Pavel Kirilenko, the city of Kosteantînivka was also subjected to rocket strikes. As a result of the attack, a kindergarten and a college were damaged. At the same time, the village of Praskoveevka continues to be bombed.

In Dergaci, Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian military found a cache of ammunition. It was built here by the Russian military, after the occupation of the territories in the area. Together with some volunteers and locals, representatives of the Ukrainian armed forces emptied the warehouse.

Meanwhile, eight members of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine participated in a training program in Cambodia. There, the Ukrainians were trained in how to use mine detectors, which will be supplied by Japan, and how to remove land mines. "The Cambodian government has given us so much experience, and I think Cambodia is the most popular country for mine detection," said Arseni Diacenco, an official of the Ukrainian Emergency Service.

According to the Ukrainian authorities, currently about a quarter of the country or a territory of 160 thousand square kilometers is affected by landmines and other unexploded bombs.
