Over 21,000 people left the Republic of Moldova in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, over 21,000 people left the Republic of Moldova, while over 20,000 others entered it. According to the Border Police, the grossest part of the crossings were made by foreign citizens – 24,913, of which 9,527 were citizens of Ukraine, while the crossings of Moldovan citizens constituted 16,922.

The most "active" border remains the one with Romania. In the last 24 hours alone, a total of 21,426 crossings were recorded here. At the Moldovan-Ukrainian border, 11,950 crossings were reported, and at the air border - 8,459.

The border police recommend travellers to consult the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717) or to check the situation at the crossing points online before setting off.
