Bucharest Hosts Forum on Black Sea, Balkans Security Threats

Speaker Igor Grosu departs for Bucharest, where he will participate in the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum.

The head of the Chișinău Legislature, along with the President of the Romanian Senate, Nicolae Ciucă, and the President of the Ukrainian Supreme Rada, Ruslan Stefanciuk, will deliver a speech on the European integration of our country and Ukraine in the current European context.

Renowned experts from several countries and officials are expected at the international conference in Bucharest to discuss emerging security threats, technological progress, and the ensuring of national and international security.

The event offers a platform for discussions, analyses, and exchanges of ideas regarding the war in Ukraine, its implications for regional and global security, the process of Ukraine's reconstruction, energy security, and the transatlantic relationship.

In Bucharest, from May 23-24, the eighth edition of the "Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum" – an international security conference in a regional format – will take place, gathering guests with vast professional experience from different countries to debate the risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of the Black Sea and Balkans region.

The event is organised by the "New Strategy Centre," with the support of the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Defense.
