£176 Million Boosts Ukraine's Defences: UK, Allies Step Up
The United Kingdom and its allies are supplying Ukraine with air defence radar systems, decoy devices, and electronic warfare equipment valued at £82 million as part of the Ukraine International Fund, according to the BBC.
The aid package also includes military patrol boats, reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and unmanned surface vessels (USVs) valued at approximately £94 million.
The Ukraine International Fund has already garnered £900 million.
The United Kingdom is the largest donor, having contributed £500 million to the fund. Other members of the alliance include Denmark, Estonia, Finland, and Germany.
"The Ukraine International Fund provides critical support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine," stated British Defense Secretary Grant Shapps.
