Strengthening Partnerships: Moldova's Commitment to European Integration

Cooperation in the process of European integration and support for the reform agenda through investments, consultancy, and technical assistance were discussed by Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov with Catarina Bjorlin Hansen, the director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in our country.

During the meeting, the focus was on strengthening bilateral partnerships and discussing how the EBRD can continue supporting the Republic of Moldova in its efforts to align with the European bloc.

In this context, Cristina Gherasimov expressed gratitude for the consistent assistance Moldova has received over the past 32 years and acknowledged the valuable projects developed by the Bank in various sectors, including industry, agriculture, infrastructure, and energy security.

The Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration reaffirmed the strong commitment of the Republic of Moldova's authorities to progress along the European path with confidence and determination.
