A small aircraft would have caught fire in the air and crashed in the Ialoveni district. The General Police Inspectorate (IGP) announces that it is inspecting the area, but so far it has not identified either the aircraft or its fragments. The police call citizens who witnessed the incident or have relevant information to call 112 immediately.

"An hour ago, the Police was informed by the passenger of a minibus that, during the journey, he had noticed a small flying device in flames while falling in the range of the Ialoveni district. All specialized subdivisions intervened immediately. So far, no aircraft or fragments have been identified," the IGP announced.

The inspectorate announces that the police contacted the representatives of the companies that organize local flights, so far no information has been communicated in this regard.

"We ask citizens who witnessed or have certain information about the location to contact us immediately at 112," is the appeal of the police.
