Two candidates admitted, two - rejected. The pre-vetting commission heard four other applicants for the position of member of the CSM
Two judges passed the pre-vetting evaluation. Vasile Șchiopu from the Ungheni Court and Sergiu Caraman from the Criuleni Court were admitted to the competition for the position of member of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM). According to the pre-vetting commission, the two magistrates comply with the integrity criteria.
At the same time, two other judges: Sergiu Osoianu and Ecaterina Buzu from the Străseni and Orhei courts did not pass the evaluation.
The decisions were unanimously approved by the commission members.
So far, only five candidates among the judges have been accepted to participate in the contest itself, 12 have been disqualified, and another 11 are awaiting the commission's decision.
