The fire that broke out in Giurgiulesti Port, completely extinguished
The fire that broke out at reservoir no. 2, in which a quantity of 500 tons was stored, was liquidated in the afternoon of Tuesday, January 24, by the employees of the IGSU in the south of the country.
According to the IGSU, the outbreak was completely extinguished at 1:23 p.m., after the firefighters spent four days trying to extinguish the fire.
We remind you that on January 20, 2023, IGSU employees were alerted again in the port after tank no. 2 caught fire. Five crews of rescuers and firefighters, with a total of 13 employees, were trained for extinguishing works and maintaining continuous fire safety.
