Tokyo supports the democratic processes and the European path of the Republic of Moldova
Tokyo authorities firmly support the democratic processes and the European path of the Republic of Moldova, investing important financial resources in the country's modernization and development projects. This was mentioned at the meeting of the new ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Moldova, Yamada Yoichiro, with the state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Ruslan Bolbocean.
Ambassador Yamada Yoichiro outlined the priorities of his agenda as head of the diplomatic mission in Chisinau and assured that he will make efforts to advance the Moldovan-Japanese dialogue in areas of common interest and to promote mutually beneficial cooperation in political, economic and academic groups. For his part, Ruslan Bolbocean also listed the recent visits to Japan by President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița, noting that they had a significant impact on strengthening the Moldovan-Japanese relationship.
