Revolut Exits Moldova, 15 Others in Feature Revamp
After one year of operation in the Republic of Moldova, Revolut is withdrawing its Lite version from the country.
The company made this announcement in a recent statement, which was confirmed by the Ministry of Economic Development.
Revolut has decided to withdraw the Lite version from several countries, including Moldova, as part of an ongoing development strategy. The company plans to bring back a full-featured version for its customers in the future.
"Moving forward, we aim to enhance our offerings by focusing on a broader range of services that cater more effectively to the needs of our customers in these regions," the company stated. "This change in strategy allows us to invest more in developing high-performance features and functionalities that deliver a more seamless experience."
Revolut will also be withdrawing from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Chile, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Macao, China, Malaysia, North Macedonia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
Notably, Revolut remains one of the few global applications that enables instant and free money transfers across 44 countries worldwide.
