Minister of Energy Victor Parlicov will participate in the Green Transition 4.0 Forum in Bulgaria

The Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov, will participate, between June 26-28, at the Green Transition 4.0 Forum in Bulgaria. The participants of the event will debate issues directly related to the financing of sustainable development, innovations in the green economy, energy transformation, climate-smart agriculture, the fight against climate change and sustainable corporate governance.

Also, the Moldovan official will participate with a presentation in the discussion panel dedicated to the transformations of the energy sector, together with his counterparts from Bulgaria and Romania.

This year the forum will bring together 170 energy and climate speakers, leaders, opinion leaders and experts from over 18 countries, including several European Commissioners and the US President's Special Representative for Climate, former US Secretary of State John Kerry.

The Green Transition 4.0 Forum is a large-scale event that promotes global efforts for environmental protection in the context of climate change, but also common progress on the green transition agenda for Central and Eastern Europe.

An IMF mission headed by Mrs. Alina Iancu, will visit Chisinau between October 1-11. According to a press release from the institution, the IMF experts will analyze the recent developments in the economy, will evaluate the prospects and risks at the macroeconomic level and will inform about the progress achieved in the implementation of the agreed actions within the program supported by the IMF.
