Driving licenses issued in the Republic of Moldova and in the Hellenic Republic will be mutually recognized
Driving licenses issued in the Republic of Moldova and in the Hellenic Republic will be mutually recognized. An agreement to this effect was approved today, June 26, by the Executive.
Thus, road traffic will be facilitated and bureaucratic impediments will be removed for citizens who live, work or travel in the two countries.
The documents will be converted without a theoretical and/or practical test.
The Republic of Moldova has signed five other treaties on the mutual recognition of driving licenses with Turkey, Lithuania, Italy, Albania, Spain, and a joint declaration of intent with Germany, regarding the transcription of driving licenses.
