Moldova Extends Airport Entry Limits: What Travellers Need to Know

Moldova's Civil Aviation Authority, in collaboration with Chișinău International Airport and the Moldovan Border Police, has extended entry restrictions at the Chișinău International Airport terminal for an additional 30 days, until July 31st, 2024.

Passengers Departing from Chișinău Advised to Arrive Early

Due to a busy summer flight schedule and an anticipated surge in passenger traffic, Chișinău International Airport (AIC) advises all departing passengers to arrive at least three hours before their flight.

"In a statement, Chișinău International Airport recommended that all passengers arrive at least three hours prior to their departure to ensure they have sufficient time to complete check-in and security procedures," the airport said.

Effective May 1, 2024, only passengers with valid tickets and travel documents, authorised personnel, and aircrew are permitted entry to the terminal.
